August has been a great month at St. Thomas Boat Charters. The weather and water have been amazing, and we have been taking advantage of this. The flat calm water has allowed us to explore all the great snorkel spots that when windy are not available to us. We also had the opportunity to run over to St. Croix as we had such nice marine conditions for the past few weeks. The same day we were on the way to St. Croix another boat nearby found a pod of Orca whales. This is very rare, but they do occasionally navigate into warmer waters. Our customers at St. Thomas Boat Charters have been lucky to experience the quiet and laid-back beaches and snorkel spots. As the kids go back to school, and hurricane season sets in, we get to embrace the beauty away from the crowds and busy times. Come down for the fall season and let St. Thomas boat charters show what slow season has to offer.

We had a great July on the water at St. Thomas Boat Charters! We took advantage of the clear skies and warmer water temperatures, and spent more time underwater checking out tons of cool fish and turtles. As we enter into August the water hits about 83 degrees and is perfect for longer swims and snorkel adventures. At St. Thomas Boat Charters we love to introduce the underwater world to our guests that have never tried snorkeling before. The first stop is a bit of a learning curve, but by the last stop everyone is so comfortable and ready to stay in the water. There is a whole world below the surface, and St. Thomas Boat Charters is ready to show you a great day, and get you into vacation mode.
Amazing Water Conditions
St. Thomas Boat Charters has started off the month of June with amazing water conditions! We have been taking advantage of calm seas and clear skies and amazing blue water which has made for perfect snorkeling. This has allowed us the opportunity to snorkel reefs that aren’t always accessible, and offer some of the healthiest reefs around St. Thomas and St. John. Our goal at St. Thomas boat Charters is to provide the most quality experience to our guests instead of taking them to the popular places that are always busy and congested. We know all the best local spots and enjoy making memories for everyone that comes out with us.
The Perfect Week
This week St. Thomas Boat Charters has been enjoying the beautiful 85-degree weather with lite winds and clear skies. The snorkeling has been amazing, and we have been seeing a lot of green turtles. Between Maho Bay and Salt Pond Bay we have seen quite a few turtles relaxing on the bottom eating the sea grass. Back on deck we have been making delicious painkiller cocktails and the mix just keeps getting better. St. Thomas Boat Charters is a boutique operation, and we specialize in providing the most quality experience for our guests. Give us a call today and we will show you a great day on the water!
This week St. Thomas Boat Charters welcomed the calming of the winds and seas. Every year as carnival approaches in late April, we tend to see a more relaxed weather environment which makes for some amazing boating conditions. Our guests this week were spoiled with flat water and endless visibility underwater. The shoulder season is a great time to visit the Virgin Islands and St. Thomas Boat Charters.
This past week St. Thomas Boat Charters been exploring and looking for more out of the way snorkel spots to take our guests. Rendezvous Bay on St. John was on our list, and we spent a few hours over there this past week. We discovered a few really great reefs with lots of great coral and a few lobster. The star of the show at Rendezvous was all the star fish! So many different colors and sizes all over the areas with all the sea grass. We haven’t seen many since the hurricane, so this was really an exciting discovery. We will have another update next week. Happy Easter!
St. Thomas Boat Charters had a great month of March. We spent a lot of time snorkeling with turtles and colorful fish. We had a very special opportunity to swim with wild dolphins for a long period of time at Christmas Cove. This was a really special occasion for the guest on the boat. We found another exciting snorkel spot inside Christmas Cove. There is a sailboat that sank in the last hurricane and it is now home to a few small green sea turtles. This was a highlighted spot from this past week’s adventures. Lunch has also been a popular topic this past month, and we have been spending a lot of time at Lime out taco boat, and Pizza Pi at Great St. James Island. Come on out and spend the day with St. Thomas Boat Charters, and let us show you the best day of your vacation.
