St. Thomas Boat Charters has been enjoying the start to the summer season! The
water temperatures have been above average, which makes the snorkeling very
comfortable and fun to stay in the water longer. This year we have been blessed with
calm seas which allows us the opportunity to explore some of the best and unique spots
that are home to beautiful fish and coral. Now that the British Virgin Islands are open
again, we have been spending a lot of time visiting the highlighted spots. If you are into
beaching and some of the most beautiful clear blue water we always recommend
checking out the island of Jost Van Dyke. There are so many great beach bars and
restaurants that offer fresh lobster, fish tacos, cheeseburgers, and of course your
favorite island cocktails. Jost Van Dyke is a small island with so much positive energy
and kind people that will make your day so enjoyable. If you want to check out some
amazing snorkeling Norman Island AKA Treasure Island is home to the best snorkeling
around. The Indians is by far one of the healthiest and colorful reefs in the Virgin
Islands. We have snorkel gear for everyone on board, and we have tons of quality floats
for everyone that will make the whole experience much less stressful. The Treasure
Caves is also a great snorkel spot, and you can actually snorkel inside the caves and
you will see different fish inside the cave. Norman Island is known as Treasure Island
because the book was based on this exact location. So there is a chance that you could
find some hidden treasure! When everyone is hungry Norman Island is home to two
amazing lunch spots. If you want to eat at a floating pirate ship Willy T is a fun spot to
grab a bite and jump off the top if you are up for it. Willy T’s is a great place for all ages,
and is sure to be one of the highlights of the day! Pirates Bight is also a great lunch
option, and offers quality menu on the beach. The food is an A+, and the atomosphere
is also just as amazing. One of our favorite itineraries is to combine Norman Island and
Jost Van Dyke in the same day which give you the best of both worlds all in one day.

October in the Virgin Islands

October in the Virgin Islands is an amazing time of year. We refer to this time of year as shoulder season, and it never disappoints. We have been enjoying all the best spots away from the crowds and have literally had the whole place to ourselves everyday! The water is very warm and comfortable, and the visibility has been really great. Our boat was custom built and has the best layout for relaxing and enjoying the smooth ride. The boat has tons of shade for everyone on board. The extra large jumbo hard top provides ample shade during the early afternoon hours. We also have a custom dive ladder that makes getting in and out of the water so nice and easy. Our Captains love their job, and we love to have fun and share these amazing moments with our guests. Whether it’s snorkeling with the turtle and colorful fish, or just relaxing up on deck and sipping on a painkiller cocktail, we have something for everyone. So Much Fun in February

St. Thomas Boat Charters is having so much fun in February! The weather has been beautiful, and the water has been crystal clear. We have been splitting up the time between the US virgin Islands, and the British Virgin Islands. Both are equally beautiful, and both have so much to offer. Virgin Gorda World Famous Baths

St. Thomas Boat Charters is starting the new year off with lots of fun days on the water.  We have been exploring the British Virgin Islands and all the highlighted spots.  Today we went to Virgin Gorda to see the world-famous Baths.  The Baths is a large section of the island that is home to house sized granite boulders on the beach.  What an amazing sight it is.  The rocks are on the beach, so we followed the trail through the rocks and ended up at a beautiful beach.  This day was fun for all ages, and made for lots of memories.  St. Thomas Boat Charters is excited to for all the wonderful boating days ahead in 2023.  Give us a call today to reserve the best day of your vacation.
