Captain Nate sailed around the Caribbean in high school and fell in love with the islands. The first stop along the way was the Virgin Islands. Nate fell in love with the beautiful blue waters, and the laid back and mellow culture. After high school Nate packed up a duffle bag and bought a one way ticket to St Thomas. Captain Nate started his journey working on the beach as a sailing instructor and jet ski tour guide. Soon after Nate was recruited to work on a charter boat where he learned how to tie lines and serve up the famous painkiller drink. Nate honed in on his skills and quickly climbed the ladder up to the Captain position. Nate was lucky enough to be surrounded by knowledgeable captains with tons of experience that were willing to show Nate the ropes and teach him all the do’s and dont’s of the nautical world. After many years of saving, Nate bought his first boat in 2007, and has spent the last 19 years creating quality experiences on the water. Nate has formed a solid team, and they all have special qualities that make each Captain unique and fun to be around. When you have one day to be on the water, the most important part is the Captain.
